about the artist

Edgard Loepert was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1956. His painting and art passion began in childhood, when he did art and workmanship courses for 9 years.  As he knew that art in Brazil is something difficult to survive from, he studied nursing and in 1998, moved with his family to Israel, working as male nurse. But internally his heart wanted something else. In 2005, with his new wife's encouragement, he returned to his unique and real passion, the art..Since then, as personal choice, impressionist and abstract styles are his main focus, and his preferential medium is oil in canvas.

artists' statement

I work with my soul and feelings. My preferencial styles are impressionism with influences of great masters, such as Monet and Van Gogh, and Abstract, where I can put out my creativity. Music is my friend , and I can't work without listening, Progressive Rock or Classic,my preferred styles.
